Mr. Olugbenga Obaniyi is a versatile entrepreneur with interest in a full-service interior design and furniture manufacturing company. He has circa 3 decades business experience providing uncompromising quality and innovative design solutions to its clients. He will provide leadership to the Board of Trustees in his capacity as the Chairman.

Pastor Olalekan Olayiwola is the Senior Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (“RCCG”) Rivers of Joy Parish in Lagos Nigeria from where he also provides leadership to Area 021 of Lagos Province 5 of the RCCG mission in the dual capacity of an Area Pastor. He has championed several humanitarian and empowerment programmes using the RCCG platform and has touched a lot of lives positively. He has a passion for connecting people to God and helping them fulfill destiny. He is a highly sought-after speaker locally and internationally.

Mr. Oluwaseun Obaniyi brings a lot to the Board of Trustees in terms of relevant experience leveraging his over 2 decades diverse and multi-faceted professional experience cutting across accounting, finance, wealth management and healthcare sectors. He has worked on various impactful programmes on a transatlantic scale having participated in philanthropic and charitable causes both in Nigeria and the USA.
He obtained B.sc in Management and Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Nigeria and has taken leadership courses other leading institutions including the University of Wisconsin, USA. Oluwaseun will serve as director of partnership for the Foundation.

Mr. Babatunde Obaniyi is a very innovative finance professional with over 2 decades experience in raising finance for landmark projects in critical sectors across African Economies. Such projects in utilities (special focus on power), financial services, FMCG, and social infrastructure sectors have positively impacted lives of millions of Africans. Babatunde is very passionate about impactful investment and has demonstrated excellent track record in structuring numerous transactions in that line. He is avid finance scholar and has been featured in various finance focused magazines giving opinion on the financial markets across Africa. Babatunde who has been appointed as the Director of Partnerships and Operations to the Board of Trustees also enjoys mentoring youths and young professionals. He is equally passionate about giving back to the society and motivating people to maximize their potentials in life.
Babatunde is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (FCS) and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is also affiliated with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) in the UK. Babatunde has a master’s degree in international securities, Investment, and Banking from ICMA Centre, Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK and B.Sc. Economics (Hons.) degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. Additionally, he has also attended executive/leadership programmes at leading Business Schools globally, he is an alumnus of the Senior Management programme of the Lagos Business School, and an alumnus of the prestigious Global CEO programme, a collaboration among Wharton (USA), IESE (Spain), and CEIBS (China) Business Schools.
Babatunde is very passionate about giving back to society and motivating people to maximize their potential in life. He plays Tennis and likes going on brisk walk in addition to his passion for traveling.

Meet Our Administrator – Olamide Shonibare-Owolabi is a purpose-driven professional with a strong background in communication, project coordination, and administrative leadership. She holds a B.Sc. in Accounting and an Executive Master’s in Project Management.
She brings a wealth of experience across broadcasting, public communication, and nonprofit operations, combining strategic thinking with people-focused leadership.
As the Administrator of the J.O. Obaniyi Foundation, she leads with empathy, structure, and a commitment to service. Her approach is rooted in integrity and a deep belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive.
